Embroidery was used as a way to embellish and decorate clothing, which in turn was shown as a sign of wealth. It was often seen along the cuffs of tunics (both men and women), as well as small embellishments on the apron dress. It was used as both decorations and a way of strengthening areas wear, such as collars and cuffs.

Like sewing, a wooden or bone needle was often used. With varying stitches used to create patterns. Tutorials of these stitches can be seen here:
